NAIROBI

Dear Sir,

REF: NAIROBI RIVER BURAIL SITE:

           NYERI NORTH DISTICT.

This is an old burial site that predates the Gikuyu, Maasai or Dorobo occupation .From preliminary observations danced from the site, where the stones are laid down in circular patterns and each marked with a central stone beacon is a clear testimony the site   had other spiritual purposes. In a way, it might have intended to bring celestial attention to mind.

However the site is under natural and anthropogenic forces that include deliberate damage and inadvertent and careless action as well)Gikuyu and Mumbi cultural Museum feels stake holder must with immediate effect maintain integrity of this site before the importance of the site is realized.

We are requesting the national Museums of Kenya to assist us in evaluation process with active participation of specialists in the research field.

We remain hoping to hear from you soon.

Yours Sincerely

SAMUEL KAMITHA

DIRECTOR GENERAL.
